About Us

The Wizard Electric Recording Studio was founded in 1979 in California. I operated there until 1982, and from 1982 to 1991 in the Phoenix area. It was originally established to allow me to compose, record and distribute my original music. Like most things, change happens as things evolve, and the studio evolved into a major project studio that has done dozens of albums for dozens of individual musicians and bands. I closed the studio in 1991 due to some changes in life, and to persue different types of musical endeavors, but here we are some 17 years later, in full swing once again.

The Wizard Electric Recording Studio is the recording arm for Wizard Electric Music,and KellJoy publishing which are the parent companies for the Studio and our record company (which goes by the name of "n-Space Records.") The Studio, and the record company are currently located in a suburb of Phoenix, Arizona, where there is plenty of sunshine and great weather nearly all year. I'd be fibbing a bit if I didn't say that it is a little too hot in summertime, but everything has its ups and downs.

What We Do
The main purpose of the studio is to allow and help individual artists or duos to compose and fully produce "distribution ready" music on CD for commercial distribution, for video projects or in some cases for pure personal enjoyment. The unique services offered by the studio personnel allow a singer or sonrwriter to come in with an idea and leave with a fully produced and professional product able to compete at the highest level.

Who We Are
The prinipals of the Wizard Eletric and n-Space records are Joy and Kellan Fluckiger. Kellan has been in the music business for 30 years and loves all aspects of the work. He is a multi-faceted artist who is a composer, arranger, performer and producer, as well as a recording and mastering engineer. In addition, he paints in acrylics and is the gopher for Joy in her businesses. Joy is a multi-talented artisan who specializes in antiques, beading, making jewelry, silk painting and many other artistic endeavors. She also loves to travel and study, espeacially in old parts of European cities. Joy also has an extensive collection of Aboriginal artifacts from the plains Indians, and is a collector of old stamps and coins as well.

Mostly, both of us enjoy the creative side of life, and sharing our love for things artistic with friends, clients, and the large social network on the net. We have cats and dogs and love animals, We have kids and grand-kids all over the place, and they are a great joy in our lives.
